Associate Professor of Political Science

Hello! I am a political scientist studying the microfoundations of policies and governance and the autonomy ordinary citizens hold, and exercise, when they interact with political powers. My work joins political psychology, politics of language, and multiple types of methods to trace how people form political judgments and what room they have to act on them. My book From Mouth to Mind (Springer, 2026) shows how China’s language regime reaches into mass political psychology. I am currently an Associate Professor and Deputy Chair in the Department of Political Science at Tsinghua University.

您好！我是一名政治学学者，围绕“国家治理现代化的认知机理”这一主题开展研究。 民心是最大的政治，民众能否理解、认可国家的治理安排，是制度存续、治理有效的心理前提，也划定了普通人在面对政治权力时的自主空间。 针对民众的政治认知、偏好和行为，我从语言分析与心理测量两条路径入手，综合运用因果推断、大数据分析等前沿方法，寻求对综合性议题的政治学解释和对经典议题的前沿突破。

我现任清华大学政治学系长聘副教授、副系主任，兼任清华大学国家治理与全球治理研究院兼职研究员、清华大学智能社会（AI4SS）平台矩阵副主任。
